Disappointing finish to 2011

A lopsided loss this past weekend sent the Lloydminster Border Kings into the Christmas break on a sour note.

The Border Kings opened up a two–game homestand with a big 4–3 win over the rival Bentley Generals on Saturday. The Kings couldn't carry that momentum over to Sunday, however, as the Sylvan Lake Admirals handed the Border Kings an 8–3 loss.
